What do we expect from our teaching professionals:

– Dress Code –
Please arrive dressed smartly and avoid wearing jeans, trainers or t-shirts

– Attendance and Punctuality-
We will always provide you the full address and details for each assignment including the time you should arrive at the school. Always try to arrive half an hour in advance and report directly to the person we provide the details of to you. We all run late from time to time and it really is ok as long as you contact us and make us aware so that we can advise the school.

– Sickness –
We all get sick sometimes which is really ok so dont worry if you cant fulfil a booking you have committed to as we will arrange to replace you providing you can give us plenty of notice. We are open Monday to Sunday 7amm to 8pm and also operate by our out of hours service.

– Discipline Policy –
All physical contact with pupils should be avoided and should any problems arise in class, please call a senior tmember of the school team to assist. Never leave the calss unattended.

– Behaviour & Conduct –
Please maintain a professional approach at all times setting an example for others to follow and avoid inappropriate language or behaviour.

– Your Availability –
We will always work hard to provide you work where you are available and would appreciate you contacting us regularly to keep your diary up to date so that we dont disturb you early in the morning with bookings we have when you are unavailable.

– Planning and Marking / Work Set –
Please follow any planning left by the class teacher and have your own resources should there not be enough work set or any work at all to teach the class. Always Mark all work, leaving comments for the teacher you are covering and ensure that the class is left tidy before you leave.

– Health & Safety –
Please be aware that you are responsible for the health and safety of your self, pupils, equipment and school premises . Never carry out any duties you are not capable or trained in and ensure you receive instructions by some one qualified when using equipment you have never used before.

– Child Protection –
Please be aware that you are responsible for all children in your care. If you see anything you believe needs to be reported, please inform the designated Child Protection Officer within the school and make us aware at the end of yourschool day.

– Timesheets –
Always ensure that you dont leave the school without a time sheet completed, signed and faxed as this may delay your pay. Please always keep a copy of your time sheet as we may ask you to send it to us if the school fail to get to us on time.

– School Requests –
Our schools may ask ask you to come back for future dates which is really great, but please dont forget to make us aware so that we can update your diary

FeedBack: Please provide any positive feedback to the school before leaving at the end of the day.

What do you need from me?

Teachers

  • Degree level teaching qualification held or be in your final year of teacher training
  • Have had Experience of classroom based teaching within the last 6 years
  • Can provide a valid visa to work in the UK or hold an EU Passport
  • Able to provide relevant proof of identifications
  • Happy to Undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check if required
  • Able to Provide us with original documents for verification

School Support

  • Worked within classroom or as a carer within the last 2 years
  • Can provide a valid visa to work in the UK or hold an EU Passport
  • Able to provide relevant proof of identifications
  • Happy to Undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check if required

We will require you to bring your original documentation for verification purposes when you attend a face to face interview with us.

  • A face-to face professional interview with an education specialist
  • Qualification verification

  • Overseas Police Clearance (for overseas candidates)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (if applicable)
